We understand starting somewhere new can be daunting, that’s why we have a team dedicated to your wellbeing and making your Academy experience as fulfilling as possible. It’s our job to ensure the entire process runs smoothly so that you can focus on studying.
You’ll be met by our Ten10 Wellbeing Team at our Academy houses – which offer modern, city-centre accommodation to everyone who wants it, with people matched together based on personality traits and preferences.
Every member of the Academy benefits from a strong network of support throughout training, strengthened by living together in a close-knit community where everyone is on the same journey.
Training takes place at our Leeds office in purpose-built training classrooms (or remotely when required!) delivered by The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) certified trainers.
Being in one of our busiest offices means you’ll meet a variety of Ten10 people from across the business, many of whom are Academy graduates themselves. This will help you integrate into the company and build your support network from day one.
Leeds is the new capital of the North, with over 1,000 shops, four universities, 30 nightclubs, 23 gig venues and much more! There’s always something to do – from vast moors to walk across, the bustling city centre, packed with bars, restaurants and cinemas, and even a mini zoo.
The city has fantastic transport links both locally and nationally, being a mere stone’s throw from the A1, and also houses the second busiest train station outside of London.
We take your wellbeing and mental health very seriously. We know intensive training and placements will be daunting for some, so our dedicated Ten10 Academy Wellbeing Team is always around to provide support, care, encouragement and guidance. All members of the team are mental health first aiders and are available to support all Academy Engineers throughout their time with Ten10.
